The Global Market
Manager, Patient Monitoring provides effective marketing management for the
fast-growing INVOS cerebral oximetry product portfolio within the Patient
Monitoring business unit. The primary
aim of this role is to develop, implement and monitor a commercial marketing
plan that will help drive accelerated global adoption of this critical
monitoring technology.


This role reports to
the Director of Global Marketing for Perioperative Complications within the
business, working also in close partnership with regional marketing leads, our
Market Development organization and global cross-functional teams.

excellence within the global product category.
More specifically:


**STRATEGYDEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION**


+ Developmentof key commercial market strategies, including pricing strategies, competitivestrategies, launch strategies, branding, and support of regional campaigns

+ Workswith cross-functional teams, with input from Regional marketing partners to develop,communicate and execute a marketing plan, including any product launches

+ Ensuresproper segmentation of target audience and unique value proposition isidentified and resonates with customer segment

+ Responsiblefor timely and frequent communications to the Regional Marketing teams on bestpractices, implementation strategies and tactics to increase market penetration

+ Createsrelevant sales assets as needed, collaborates with digital marketing team onstrategy and execution, including demand generation campaigns

+ Worksin conjunction with entire Patient Monitoring Global Marketing team to alignstrategy with evolving healthcare dynamics in the global marketplace


**MARKETKNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT**


+ SupportMarket Development team by partnering on market development program strategyand creating regional hand-offs

+ Keepabreast of key market drivers, trends and changes in the competitivecommercial landscape

+ Maintaincontact with regional marketing partners to stay abreast of changing customerneeds

+ Collaborateswith Global Marketing Medical Affairs to develop and commercializeclinical/economic evidence


**NEWPRODUCT COMMERCIALIZATION IN-MARKET PRODUCT MANAGEMENT**


+ Workswithin organization to develop product launch methodology for new launches,including within OEM partner integration

+ Developsmessaging and creative, including agency management

+ Productmanagement of entire in-market INVOS portfolio, including workingcross-functionally to improve forecast accuracy, ensure adequate productsupply, disposition and address customer complaints, disseminate importanttechnical knowledge and provide recommendations on road mappingobsolescence strategies


**TRAINING**


+ Salestraining - Partners with Global Sales Training department to develop andimplement sales training curriculum and content for Regional teams

+ Partnerwith Customer training Work with Global Sales Training and ProfessionalClinical Education (i.e. PACE) to develop and implement product training,in-servicing clinical education programs


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, or advanceddegree with a minimum of 2 years of marketing experience

+ Ability to traveldomestically and internationally, as needed (estimate job will require 25%to 50% travel).


**Nice to Have**


+ MBA

+ Experiencewithin the hospital patient monitoring and operating room technology industries

+ Previous sales or commercialmarketing/market development experience

+ Thoroughunderstanding of executional aspects of marketing: advertising and promotionprogram management, packaging, product positioning, lifecycle management andpricing

+ Workingunderstanding of financial documents- Income statements, expense budgeting,financial decision-making methods

+ Workingknowledge of manufacturing process, planning and logistics

+ Experiencein a high-performance consulting or strategic planning environment demanding asophisticated approach to understanding financial/market models, competitivetrends and business impact

+ Strategicagility and structured thinking, intellectual curiosity is a must. Ability to turn detailed data analyses intosuccinct, useful strategic insight

+ Abilityto achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across amatrix organization, including scoping and managing projects withcross-business unit teams

+ Self-starter,comfortable taking initiative and leading/project managing multiple projects atonce

+ Strongwritten and oral communication

+ Strongproject management skills and tangible experience achieving results

+ Excellentcommunication skills
