Under the leadership of the Global Head of Human Resources, the team is focused on Empowering managers to be more effective leaders; Creating a culture of honest feedback and learning; enhancing candidate, employee and manager experiences; Developing a stronger leadership pipeline; Supporting a global, holistic wellbeing program that encompasses employees physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing; and, Bolstering our diversity and inclusion efforts to current and prospective talent, clients and investors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accomplished HR Business Partner supporting Operations one of BNY Mellon's largest (21,000 employees) and most global (34 Countries) departments working alongside multiple Executive Committee members.
  • Leads a team of professionals who provide HR consulting services to assigned business leaders within established practices.
  • Leads the strategic delivery of solutions and HR services such as Talent Management, Organizational Design, Change Management, Workforce Planning and Total Rewards Planning to the business globally ensuring consistency, fairness, and engagement while influencing best practices.
  • Leverages expertise and collaborates across the Communities of Expertise, Service Delivery Team and Workforce Support Solutions.
  • Member of the HR leadership team, Global Operations and Technology leadership team and the Operations leadership team.

Job Scope

  • Operations is currently being integrated with Technology creating a modern, agile team called Global Operations and Technology.
  • Partnering with the Global HR leader for Global Operations and Technology, significant Organizational Design work to gain operational transformation of the new organization
  • Significant depth of experience across all aspects of HR: Leading large global teams, supports multiple LOBs across various geographies, manages a budget, operates with executive-levels (clients), experienced in strategic agenda for multi-disciplined HR functions, experienced in large scale transformational projects.
  • Possibility to have more consulting experience bias, and open to considering experience in other industries outside of Financial Services.

Qualifications

A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive related experience with demonstrated knowledge of technical and legal aspects of HR; minimum 4 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Typically 7+ years of progressive related experience with demonstrated success in one or more of the following areas, supporting a large and complex global organization: Talent Management, organizational Design, Change Management, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, or Consulting experience
