**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Global Sales Management and Marketing Head reports directly to the Global Head of the Commercial Bank and will lead the sales and marketing strategy for target market global companies ($10MM-$3BN in annual sales) and their subsidiaries. This leader will develop and execute a strategy capitalizing on Citi's global presence that will provide a unique and competitively differentiating client experience for target companies that require cross-border products and services. Harnessing internal partnerships and data to maximize operating capabilities, this role will drive profitability and strategic focus to effectively deliver our capabilities to companies in targeted industries. This role will oversee the global sales management, global marketing, and global business training teams.


**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The primary responsibilities for this executive are to:


+ Lead the formulation and implementation of long and short-term strategic plans and objectives across all segments of commercial banking clients.

+ Drive data-driven new client acquisition, with heavy focus on digital sales and marketing tools;

+ Build high performing sales, metrics driven sales culture - with clear metrics, disciplined processes and data-driven decision making;

+ Build CRM / Salesforce as single portal for employee activities in order to drive more streamlined processes, productivity, and ultimately improved client experience

+ Ensure alignment w ICG in terms of data / analytics, platform and marketing content strategies

+ Own data, sales & marketing enablement technology budget and roadmap. Ensure investments are prioritized appropriately and oversee execution;

+ Connect with CLM, Coverage Heads to understand training needs and develop robust curriculum to support;

+ Oversee the execution of a unified marketing and communications effort, embedding CCBs strategy, value proposition and product capabilities, across all platforms and content to maximize visibility.


**EXPERIENCE**


+ Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred;

+ 15+ years in sales and relationship management preferably with companies with global needs;Proven experience with lending and treasury management solutions for commercial banking clients;

+ Successful record in setting business strategy and implementation plans, either within a large geographically dispersed area or nationally.

+ Highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned;

+ Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels. Reputation in industry that attracts talent;


+ Experience managing virtual teams;

+ Strong financial and analytic skills and ability to rapidly assimilate complex information;

+ Sharp business focus, demonstrating innovative approaches;

+ Team player, builds strong partnerships;

+ Highly effective influencing skills;

+ Sound decision making, while able to agreeably present another viewpoint;

+ Positive/can-do approach, embraces changes and communicates as own;

+ Superior organizational skills;

+ Excellent written and presentation skills.
