As the GIDE Sr. Program Manager Executive Councils and Awards, you will be an integral leader within the Global Inclusion, Diversity Equity (GIDE) team. You will be responsible for providing bold and dynamic leadership and vision on the strategy, development, planning, implementation, and assessment of our Quarterly GIDE Reviews with the Medtronic Executive Committee. You will also lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of our GIDE Diversity Council. Building upon our existing Awards program, you will lead the redesign of a comprehensive strategy to recognize excellence in GIDE efforts, and lead its subsequent execution. You will also support other GIDE team members by project managing other priority projects and programs in support of the execution of the overall GIDE strategy. You will work collaboratively with the GIDE leadership and overall team, HR partners and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment, preparation and execution of same. You will report to the Senior Director, GIDE Operations.


This role is based out of Fridley, however remote locations will be considered, particularly but not exclusively those locations near substantive Medtronic offices.


**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ In close collaboration with GIDE leadership, COE and other partners, provide leadership and vision on the development, planning, implementation, production and assessment of Quarterly GIDE Reviews with the Medtronic Executive Committee.

+ Collaboratively lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of our GIDE Diversity Council, a group of senior executive leaders, which will provide ongoing collaborative support, direction and visibility for the execution of the 5-year Leader-Led strategic plan, et al.

+ In close partnership with GIDE leadership, HR and other key partners, and building upon our existing Awards program, you will lead the redesign of a comprehensive strategy to recognize excellence in GIDE efforts, and lead its subsequent execution.

+ Support other GIDE team members by project managing other priority projects with well-defined program plans and delivery methodologies - - all in support of the execution of the overall GIDE strategy.

+ Collaboratively lead respective cross-functional team in collaboration with GIDE leadership, COE, Business Partners, Human Resource colleagues, Learning Development partners, Communications experts, and other key stakeholders.

+ Manage active formal and informal feedback loops throughout the matrix to ensure Voice of Customer is well understood and needs met.

+ Demonstrate program ROI through systematic program evaluation and a continuous improvement strategy.

+ Direct continuous improvement efforts as feedback requires event iteration.

+ Motivate, influence and lead cross-functional event teams to achieve common goals and objectives. Anticipate, identify and resolve high-level problems associated with completing projects and executing related events.

+ Other duties as assigned.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree with 7+ years of experience in marketing, strategic events, leadership or governance committees, or core or cross-functional team leadership, or advanced degree with a minimum 5+ years of experience

+ Deep relevant experience developing and facilitation preparation for and related execution of high-profile matrixed leadership committees

+ Demonstrated strong influence management and ability to collaboratively navigate matrix environments i

+ Advanced power-point and other collateral development skills

+ Demonstrates critical thinking, sound judgement, and process improvement mindset

+ Well-honed analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams, councils, or committees

+ Demonstrated success in people or program management

+ Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across a matrix environment

+ Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex strategies and data in a clear and concise manner

+ Demonstrated success with advancing high-profile change management initiatives

+ Experience with or in advancing inclusion, diversity and equity
