Fusion Center Functions and Engagements Team Analyst -- - Assistant Vice President

The Functions and Engagements Team is responsible for generating and sustaining Citi client business, facilitating collaboration among fusion center teams, producing situational awareness and analytical reports, and managing day-to-day operations in the fusion center. The team sits within Citis Cyber Security Fusion Center (CSFC). This Assistant Vice President role will report to the Global Head of the Functions and Engagements Team. In order to achieve the above results, this position will be responsible for the below functions:

  • Prepare, present, and execute presentations to Citi clients and senior staff
  • Prepare and host a daily brief call.
  • Assist with the compiling and editing daily cyber situational awareness reports
  • Monitoring of security incidents, PII breaches, cyber investigations, and other operational events for additional fusion team analysis and investigation.
  • Maintains close coordination and integration with Citis cyber security teams globally as well as local information sharing consortiums or groups and government entities on non-intelligence operational matters to enhance CSFC situational awareness and reporting to partners.
  • Work with daily with internal Citi teams, such as, the CIC Intelligence Coordinator on intelligence collection tasking in support of ongoing threat collection plans.
  • Actively monitor and research cyber threats with a direct or indirect impact to the Citi brand, region business operations, technology infrastructure and client trust.
  • Participate in the CSFC crisis drills representing the CSFC Functions and Engagement teams.
  • Apply expertise to ascertain the impact of an attack and develop threat trends to develop mitigation techniques and countermeasures that can prevent future attacks.
  • Liaise with external partners to build greater situational awareness for the Cyber Security Fusion Center and its partners.
  • Track, monitor, and provide updates to the cyber security reports.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills to internal and external a audiences.

3 or more years working in an Incident Response role with experience in examining suspicious/malicious network events, analyzing malicious code/exploits, and system/network forensics.

3 or more years working in IT/IT security/Cyber Security, preferably a 24x7 operational environment, or educational equivalent

Experience in working on a high profile cyber-incident or event.

Possesses the ability to review information to determine its significance, validate its accuracy and assess its reliability to technical and non-technical audiences.

Should be a subject matter expert in one or more of the following areas

o Cyber crime

o Extremist Groups and Cyber Terrorists

o Hacktivism

o Distributed Denial of Service attacks

o Advanced Persistent Threat

o Malware and Mobile Threats

o Emerging Threats

o Social Engineering

o Insider Threats

o Third Party Risks/Threats

o Data Leakage Threats

Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently with little oversight.

Strong analytical and situational awareness skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management to include senior leaders.

Ability to understand strategic objectives and vision, and work towards those goals.

Ability to work within cross-functional and cross-business teams.
