Financial Planning and Analysis - Regional BCMA Senior Lead Analyst - SVP

The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citis current and projected performance.


+ Drive forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results

+ Perform hands-on analyses and deliver high quality presentations related to the financial performance, profitability, Wallet/Volume Shares of Citi and its competitors; Generate analytics for monthly and quarterly flash results, related highlights, and executive management reports as well as other ad hoc deliverables that utilize business insights to drive results

+ Prepare/present to Business stakeholders and senior management of facts and details as well as metrics to evaluate and drive business decisionsAdvise internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm/business unit strategy as well as accounting policy, finance rules etc that are relevant

+ Support and partner with the business and Country teams to implement and measure the impact of key strategic decisions and targets, and identify and implement course corrections towards achieving the targets with regard to financial measures including but not limited to Revenue, Expense and Balance Sheet

+ Manage the delivery of full range of services to BCMA and interact with peers internally/externally in region and Globally, including regulators and professional organizations; examples include but not limited to Deal Management/Approvals, invoicing, surveys, data requests etc

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards


+ 10+ years of relevant experience

+ Experience within financial services

+ Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets

+ Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

+ Knowledge in additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Professional Qualification or Masters degree preferred
