The ideal candidate will have relevant technical experience from either a big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm. This is a perfect opportunity for a first move into industry as the role will be responsible for the consolidation of two OPCO€™s ensuring consistency and compliance with all Accounting and Control practices.

The accounting flows are operated in multiple legal entities with involvement of a number of stakeholders in different locations. You will also play a role in some global ad hoc projects as well as implementing process improvements.

This position has significant interaction with internal finance and business operation groups at all levels of the organization as well as the internal/external auditors.

The Financial Consolidation Manager will be responsible for the consolidation of two OPCO€™s ensuring consistency and compliance with all Accounting and Control practices. You will also play a role in some global ad hoc projects as well as implementing process improvements.

This position has significant interaction with internal finance and business operation groups at all levels of the organization as well as the internal/external auditors.

  • Manages the internal and external monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the OPCO including:
    • Consolidated financial statements to US GAAP
    • Validation of all corporate adjustments and supporting documentation
    • Internal financial reporting including internal results of operations, specified items, balance sheet and cash flow and applicable analysis
    • Completion of corporate statistics
    • Bring strong financial stability through closing process, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy
    • Establishes and updates financial reporting deadlines and managing the monthly financial consolidation process
    • Driver of the annual internal balance sheet reviews
    • Rationalise the internal and external audit findings and steer the planning of corrective actions
    • Significant interaction with finance leaders throughout the organization at all levels, as well as Legal, Tax, Treasury, Internal/External Audit, Investor Relations, Corporate and Business Unit Financial Analysis, General Accounting
    • Ad hoc global projects
      • Experienced in working in an international environment.
      • In depth knowledge of financial reporting and consolidation concepts in a multinational setting.
      • Understanding of month-end close and reporting processes.
      • Experience of working in a US organization and/or matrix-structured business would be beneficial.
      • US GAAP experience
      • Advanced System knowledge (SAP, HFM, Consolidation software)
