The primary function of this lead analyst position is to compile and analyze financial information for Baptist Health.  This position will be responsible to create and analyze monthly reports and ensure financial information / financial statements have been recorded accurately and timely. They will identify trends and present findings to leadership.  This position works closely with Managers, Directors and Vice-Presidents.  This individual will also perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Master’s degree preferred and 5 or more years of experience in accounting or finance, healthcare knowledge is preferred.  The analytical support functions require extensive computer use & a mid-high level of familiarity with many software applications.  The ability to work independently, problem solve, communicate effectively, and have a general knowledge of budgets is required.

Responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to:

• Performs analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy of accounts and financial statements.
• Provide adhoc analysis, as needed.
• Provide profitability and cost analysis by procedure and service line.
• Assists and primary resource for operating budget process.
• Detailed review / analysis of various system support areas.
• Primary resource for General Accounting during closing process.

• Over 5 years Healthcare Analysis Experience
• Provider Relations Experience
• Managed Care Contracting Experience

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
