Finance Transformation Office - End User Computing (EUC) Program Manager

EUC Project Manager is a vital leader in Citis Finance Transformation Office (FTO). They will support the Finance Digital Team, in governing and driving change management across Finance, with the focus on managing the elimination of End User Computing (EUCs). This is a very hands-on role requiring a combination of project management & business/technical analysis skills. Were looking for a candidate that is capable and willing to work across a broad range of teams. Candidate needs to demonstrate strong structured thinking, be well organized and possess good communication skills. Role offers steep learning curve and exposure to senior management across Finance in return very strong ownership is expected.

The range of topics in this role will cover:

+ Involvement in greater transformational initiatives across FTO

+ Digitization and automation of Finance processes

+ Process Reviews & Improvements

+ Management of a team of developers located across the globe

+ All of this in very close cooperation with business and technology partners


+ Drives finance transformation, through leveraging the Finance Digital Platform (enabled digital innovation), helping to build the bank of the future and strengthening data-driven decision-making

+ Partners with both the business and technology to ensure that strategies and solutions are coherent and EUCs are managed through a robust process

+ Manage various initiatives across their entire lifecycle from user journeys, requirements gathering, delivery and test planning, testing, training and implementation

+ Drive a culture of change, simplification and client centricity

+ A strong promoter of solutions and effective communicator, expressing the progress for EUC elimination/remediation (Engaging in relevant committees)

+ Manage a team of developers (functional and technical skills), based in various geographical locations, to support the EUC efforts

+ Reviews, advises, and designs solutions, accounting for: risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on the business process and goals

+ Develops and documents on-going approach

+ Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate

+ Active member of the wider Architect & Innovation Team: engaging with Finance Enterprise Architects (for overall solution vision), Data Science Lead, and the Finance Innovation Lab

+ Exhibits knowledge of how Finance Transformation contributes to driving business outcomes

+ Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources

+ Supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

+ Highlight risks to Sr. management, come up with mitigation plan to address issues as and when they arise


+ Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of work experience across banking and technology

+ Exceptional project management skills proven track record in implementing change across multiple functions/units

+ Knowledge of data tools: KNIME, Appian, Power BI etc

+ Experience of tech project implementation and proven delivery. In addition to sound project management/governance

+ Experience of project management tools, for example JIRA

+ Experience in working with stakeholders across the business (Both the business and technology) to ensure the projects / delivery targets are met.

+ Experience and knowledge of Financial Systems/Processes preferred, but not required

+ Experience leading teams: EUC team will be a high paced delivery team and the candidate should have strong people /team management skills

+ 2. Be able to highlight Risk to Sr. management, come up with mitigate plan to address issues as and when they arise.

+ Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations

+ Be able to pay attention to details while keeping the higher goal in mind

+ Collaborative and be able to motivate, empower, challenge, and stimulate their team

+ Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives

+ Experience in supporting transformation projects and organizational change initiatives

+ Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyze data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues

+ Proven experience in providing quality control and oversight to a portfolio of projects.

+ Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

+ Excellent organizational and project management skills
