The Process Control Group Manager is accountable for management of several areas of policy adherence throughout Finance related to Citis Operational Risk Policy and its underlying Standards and Procedures. The individual is also responsible for proper Finance support and coverage related to Citis ICRM initiatives. The individual leads and directs a team of professionals. This includes leading a team through proper completion of periodic BAU activities in support of Op Risk and ICRM/ Compliance, as well as continuing to challenge the norm to look for better ways to achieve objectives and continue to provide value for Citi Finance and Citi as a whole. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, and cross-functionally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning.


+ As it relates to Operational Risk coverage, serve as delegate/ Finance representative on relevant Op Risk forums and governance groups

+ Accountable for supporting Finance adherence to Operational Risk Policy

+ Serve as delegate to the In-Business Senior Operational Risk Officer

+ Accountable for all Finance and Global Functions Operational Loss reporting (attestation/reporting, CCAR Reserve Exclusion, data quality, timeliness)

+ Accountable for monitoring and performing the analysis of the risk identification process across Finance and GF that support the final results for the material risks, key operational risks and key indicators

+ Assist with preparation of the Finance CEO Review Report.

+ Develop, coordinate, monitor and report on Finance and GF Material Risks, Reporting Risk Appetite, Key Operational Risks and Key Indicators

+ Coordinate, implement and monitor the Finance and GF Scenario Analysis process

+ Coordinate the review of Industry Event operational losses across Finance and GF

+ Coordinate, monitor and oversee the Finance and GF Lessons Learned process

+ Fully support the Secretary and Chair in leading the Finance and GF Business Risk, Compliance & Control (BRCC) Committee meeting

+ Accountable for implementation and oversight of new Operational Risk processes/requirements across Finance and GF.

+ Communicate and enforce policies, requirements, procedures and controls throughout Finance and GF through multiple forums.

+ Standards, Guidelines and Procedures

+ Update and enforce the Finance and GF ORM Governance Procedure

+ Support Independent Operational Risk Management with:

+ Review and implementation of policy enhancements

+ Operational Risk reporting and presentations for senior management and regulators

+ Identifying risks across Global Functions

+ Assessment of current or new processes for improvement/implementation across Global Functions

+ As delegate, participate and represent Global Functions Senior Operational Risk Manager at various Operational Risk Committees; Delegate voting member on various Operational Risk Working Groups; Liaise with Senior Ops Risk Managers/Coordinators from other Management Segments to address various queries/best practices.

+ As it relates to Compliance support and coverage, serve as Delegate to the Finance representative on the ICRM Transformation

+ Governance and oversight of the Comprehensive Strategic Plan (CSP) Regulatory Inventory Mapping (RIM) for both US and Local Regulatory Reporting to ensure following are met

+ Understanding applicable regulatory obligations

+ Accepting AU applicability proposed by ICRM

+ Mapping regulatory obligations to ARCMS

+ Remediation of controls identified to be ineffective / missing

+ Assessment for potential policy breaches/violations of law

+ Monitoring and implementing of any changes resulting from AU/ARCM/Regulation changes

+ Policy rationalization / Reporting Risk SME responsibility; Regulatory Change Management oversight; State of Compliance (SOC) report analysis of metrics and breaches; Priority Regulatory and Policy Matter (PRPM) Identification.

+ Accountable for appropriate Finance adherence to Compliance Escalation Policy and proper reporting of Finance related ICRM Escalations.

+ Oversight, monitoring and leading efforts relating to Compliance activities (i.e. Comprehensive Strategic Plan, etc.) on behalf of Finance

+ Ensure adherence to the Citis Compliance Risk Management framework and other Compliance related policies/standards to identify, assess, monitor and control compliance risk

+ Ongoing communication and coordination with any ICRM testing in Finance

+ Coordinating the implementation of new compliance and regulatory requirements impacting Finance

+ Participate and/or assist in review/oversight of Compliance Risk Assessment results relating to Finance

+ Participate and/or assist with any internal or external audit reviews that impact Finance with relation to compliance activities.

+ Oversight and assist with any other Compliance related activities/tasks.

+ **Qualifications**

+ 7+ years of financial experience and leadership progression a global financial services organization

+ Strong understanding of risk and control.

+ Strong leadership skill and business acumen. Executive presence; ability to interact and influence senior management

+ Superior communication and presentation skills; ability to drive change and support transformation and process improvement across all functional areas

+ Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

+ Excels in environment of tight deadlines and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

+ **Education**

+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred; managerial experience
