Join our growing team!  Abbott’s Medical Device Division is hiring regionally-based Field CRAs (monitors) across the United States.  Abbott Field CRAs manage a regional territory and have the opportunity to support multiple studies in the areas of cardiology and neuromodulation.  Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently in a matrix organization.  They will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years of experience in clinical research.  The ability to travel up to 75% is required.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
    • Preferably with an academic focus in natural science, pre-medicine, nursing, bioengineering, or a related academic field
    • Minimum five years clinical research experience
    • Must have demonstrated strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to interpret basic clinical data, to meet deadlines as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
    • Basic personal computer skills including a working familiarity with word processing software and relevant clinical applications
    • The ability to work independently and function within a dynamic, global team environment
    • The ability to exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding
    • Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently in a matrix
    • The ability to travel up to 75% is required

      Preferred qualifications:

      Previous related experience in the areas of cardiology and neuromodulation
