Field Application Engineer for a large Cloud and Data Center OEM

Intel Sales and Marketing organization works with global customers and partners to solve critical business problems with Intel based technology solutions. This is a commissioned technical sales role in the best team on the Planet - Team Americas. This is an exciting opportunity to own the technology enablement hand in hand with an OEM leveraging the Intel Xeon-SP, networking, GPU and Memory technologies. This is a unique opportunity to work with a customer who is a great partner to Intel and has an extensive the Cloud/Comms/Telco/AI portfolio.

As a successful candidate you must:

• Communicate the value proposition for future CPU and platform families, within the context of Intel data center platform vision

• Drive customer requirements back into Intel roadmap and product planning processes. Have outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers from the engineering to executive levels in order to secure commitment for Intel Architecture designs

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, i.e., requirements management, project planning, statement of work creation, risk management, engineering program updates

• Have excellent time management and organizational skills are needed in order to prioritize tasks in an interrupt-driven environment

• Provide timely feedback to the factory on product and strategy issues to ensure the Intel is capable of responding to and/or anticipating changes needed to maintain success.

• Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work.

• Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer or equivalent STEM degree.
- 3+ years of experience with following: 

• Hardware Product / Platform Development
• Data center technologies such as microprocessors, networking, AI/ML, Optane and various technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience or knowledge with:

• Data Center Product Development / Customer Enabling Experience
• Product Management Experience to run Task Force and initiatives
• Prior Sales experience
• Master degree in Electrical Engineering.
