We are looking for a talented Fabricator and or Machinist who can prepare, fabricate and weld various metal components and test fixtures in a dynamic and fast-paced testing environment. Working from blueprints or templates to complete requests from engineering and operation teams. 


Main Responsibilities:

  • Projects will be completed independently but as a whole, we work as a team.

  • Supervising  Engineer and candidate will remain in regular communication throughout projects.

  • Taking initiative - a self-starter who is pro-active and demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.

  • Must be resourceful and solve problems as they arise.

  • Use a Manual Lathe and Mill to machine components to get fabricated.

  • Welding (Miller TIG/MIG).

  • Use measurement equipment (Digital calipers, micrometers etc)

  • Most of the Fixturing that is needed involves vehicle suspension components.

  • Automotive suspension knowledge/experience is a plus.

  • Maintain equipment used.

  • Work safely and use proper safety equipment



  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • Own your own tools

  • Running a Lathe and Mill 

  • Knowledge of shop mathematics (preferred)

  • Good hand/eye coordination

  • Able to read and follow blueprints

  • Welding experience (TIG, MIG)

  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to follow through on complex projects

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.


Tools & Equipment Used:

  • Manual Bridgeport Mill

  • Manual Lathe

  • ProtoTrak CNC Mill experience a plus

  • Welder (Miller TIG/MIG)

  • Surface Grinder

  • Miscellaneous Hand Tools

  • Grinder/Hand Grinder

  • Plasma Cutter

  • Cut Saw

  • Band Saw

  • Various Oxy/Fuel-Gas Equipment

  • Fork Lift



  • This position is located in a manufacturing environment and will involve hands-on work with tools and testing equipment. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
