KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Enterprise Project Management Office to join our Digital Nexus organization.


Responsibilities:


+ Implement and administer end-to-end portfolio governance and portfolio management practices and processes in alignment with KPMG and the IT organization's strategic goals and objectives, including integration with the annual planning and budgeting processes

+ Accountable for IT organization-wide education of EPMO policies, procedures, standards and consistent application across the entire portfolio of projects; engages regularly with all levels of leadership on strategy delivery and portfolio governance performance

+ Provide oversight and guidance to the ePMO team for the effective and timely execution of projects, inclusive of governance for the portfolios and programs; supervise and lead a team of Project Managers and support staff, fostering career growth and making KPMG a great place to work; responsible for controlling, directing, and developing multiple projects at once and championing alignment to the applicable strategies and adherence to them

+ Drive and facilitate progress of shared assignments/projects for large scale projects, processes or programs across departments or BPG/internal processes; drive and oversee optimization of performance, quality and cost of the delivery function by defining and implementing proper resourcing, offshoring scope and utilization, increasing automation and process efficiency

+ Manage an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization's mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement and continuous improvement; act as a point of escalation and leverage the IT Organization's senior leadership team to bring programs and projects back on track by bringing focus, resources, funding or other dependencies in alignment with project delivery and the interests of the Firm

+ Leverage an enterprise platform as the central repository for demand, resource management, status reporting and issues management; create processes to support the technology and act as a sponsor for further tool implementation


Qualifications:


+ Minimum fifteen years of expert-level knowledge of program, project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

+ Experience leading ePMO is preferred along with the skills to effectively manage a large team of project managers and execute plans with focus on quality

+ Ability to engage with senior leaders and clearly communicate strategy and status of the work managed within the ePMO

+ Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement

+ Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; lead and ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them
