The Marketplace Support team works to transform and sustain tour support, on sales, event management processes, and data quality support models across the world to achieve consistencies from market to market and drive a frictionless fan experience by streamlining processes, tour support, internal tools and organizational structure.

The Event Support Consultant role within Marketplace Support is responsible for managing the event programming lifecycle, from initial setup, to on sale, to programming support throughout the trough. National resources within this group may be deployed to support varying initiatives related to maintaining high outcomes. Projects may include international load balancing, best practices assembly and distribution, assists with high visibility tours and on sales.


This position is an Area Leadership role responsible for product rollout and use, special projects, data analysis, and high-profile event quality assurance for Event Management within the Area. Works closely with the Event Support Manager, Operations Support Manager, and Area Manager to ensure Event Management efficiencies are achieved for the Area. While not directly managing the Event Support Specialists in an area, the interaction with that team allows for mentorship, influence, and coordination on executing projects.


  • Collaboration with product teams and Client Operation Leads on product rollout (TM1 Events) and usage with a focus on Client Self Service initiatives.
  • Development of area level Subject Matter Experts.
  • Audit of area workflow and quality assurance processes.
  • Monthly Area level data analysis of volume, workflow, and key metrics.
  • Maintain Salesforce customer contacts to enable accurate event management routing,
  • Tracking and reporting.
  • Escalation point for event related issues & resolution (diagnostics / troubleshooting)
  • Responsible for timely/accurate completion of all Event Management Calls to Action and projects that impact Area Event Management.
  • Accountability for Area preferred settings Ticketmaster Resale activations, event off sale times, use of delivery delays, and additional mobile only settings.
  • Accountability for Contract Management and exception resolution.
  • Assist with standardization & monitoring of Issued Best Practices.
  • Reviewing major on-sales and special promotions.
  • Will also be responsible for additional Event Management duties as assigned


  • Minimum of five years experience on the Ticketmaster system relating specifically to Event Management or equivalent experience
  • Complete knowledge of system commands, vax run applications, and higher level skills such as qualifiers and Series is a must
  • Strong knowledge of Live Nation and Ticketmaster departments
  • Service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Certain degree of creativity, latitude, and problem solving is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume and pressurized environment
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule including some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays
  • Must be computer literate with excellent data entry and proof reading skills
  • H. S. diploma/ BA degree or equivalent in work experience is required.
