We are a vibrant, cross-site team that helps driving Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Tofino as the switching platform of choice for Cloud and Data Center network deployments. What will you do as an Intern:

• Design and develop software for Intel Ethernet switching solutions (Tofino Switches or Ethernet switching SoC for Telco)

• Participate in full SW development and validation lifecycle including analysis, design, development, unit testing, regression testing, verification and documentation

• Work with us on future, high impact Ethernet based networking solutions

Who are we looking for? 

At Intel, our internships are usually around 12-24 months long, and you’ll be with us part-time alongside your university degree to support your educational and professional development at the same time. We ask that all applicants are current university students and will remain students during the length of our internship. 

Hybrid/remote mode:

There is possibility to work hybrid/remote mode, however, we prefer on site.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from candidates with:

• C/C++ and Python programming skills.

• Working knowledge of Linux or Unix environment.

• Knowledge of networking concepts and Ethernet/TCP/IP protocols

It would be an advantage if you had interest/knowledge and would like to develop your skills in:

• communication

• teamwork

• English
