Position Summary:

The Epic Director will have responsibility for the management of complex client engagements with a command of best practices and performance metrics across our clients that range from large academic medical centers to small suburban hospitals. In this role, you will effectively communicate and build relationships with client management to assess their needs, and design and implement Epic system solutions based on Huron’s methodology that meet or exceed specified engagement results. You will have demonstrated experience and political savvy working with client executives to maintain the appropriate level of client support and momentum throughout the engagement.


Experience in the following:
- Engagement Management: Lead Epic engagement planning; organize and schedule resources, and ensure compliance with internal policies and engagement administration.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and manage successful client relationships; quickly establish credibility for the respective project work by proactively building strategic working relationships and demonstrating Epic revenue cycle expertise.
- Practice Development: Participate as a leader in practice management which includes tools and methodologies to deliver work, and talent development including recruiting. Engage in activities such as sales pursuits, solution advancement and methodology, recruiting, and internal training development.
- Managing and Leading Teams: Create an effective work environment setting a positive tone, establishing performance expectations and driving accountability through motivation. Provide leadership to both consulting and client personnel to identify, quantify, implement and measure specific improvement initiatives.
- Analytics: Conduct client interviews related to Epic build and workflow design to identify, recommend, and solve system and business problems. Lead team efforts in developing system solutions to difficult or complex client situations to ensure goals and objectives are met.

- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current Epic certification in a revenue cycle application
- Epic implementation experience in a consulting organization
- Current formal complex project management experience using a defined methodology (Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies)
- Willingness to travel approximately 75-100%
