Enterprise Monitoring and Security Administrator

Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an excellent opportunity for an Enterprise Monitoring and Security Administrator to join the Technology Department of either our Atlanta (ACE), GA or Doral, FL office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
 
Position Summary
The Enterprise Security Operations Administrator is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including review and remediation of system alerts and vulnerability reports, responding to security events, daily monitoring of AV clients, and addressing user security permission requests on servers and workstations.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Address and remediate findings and recommendations from vulnerability scans, audits and risk assessments
  • Work with other technology staff members to mitigate vulnerabilities and risks on systems
  • Identify and mitigate security issues and failures
  • Perform user access administration on systems and applications, in accordance with defined organization policies and SOPs.
  • Monitor, identify, and mitigate virus and spyware threats
  • Monitor, assess, and remediate file and configuration changes
  • Monitor, assess, and remediate intrusion detection system alerts
  • Administer and support two-factor authentication system
  • Administer and monitor event logging and event reporting systems
  • Ensure policy and compliance concerns are addressed and corrective measures implemented
     
    Skills & Competencies
    • Strong knowledge of MS operating systems (Windows Server 2008-2019)
    • Strong knowledge of and experience managing a Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) system. Experience with Quest Intrust and ChangeAuditor is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of and experience managing anti-virus systems. Experience with McAfee is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of and experience managing intrusion detection system.
    • Experience administering a two-factor authentication system
    • Knowledge of and experience with Active Directory security
    • Strong working knowledge of security concepts
    • Good working knowledge of MS application services, such as Exchange, SQL, IIS and SharePoint
    • Strong knowledge of networking monitoring in a TCP/IP environment.
    • Experience working with WMI, Syslog and Perfmon.
    • Good scripting skills in VBscript and/or PowerShell
    • Knowledge and experience with Apple OS is a plus.
       
      Qualifications & Prior Experience
      • 4+ years experience managing large MS Windows environments.
      • 2+ years experience managing and supporting anti-virus/anti-spyware solutions
      • Strong experience troubleshooting and mitigating security risks
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
      • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of technology staff and management
      • MS Certifications a big plus
      • Ability to multitask efficiently, yet prioritize and organize competing work demands.
      • Candidate must be able to work and effectively communicate with other technology team members.
      • Strong Customer Service and Support Orientation
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
