Space and Airborne Systems has an immediate opportunity for an Integrated Product Team Lead to direct and manage a highly skilled, geographically diverse sustainment team for an advanced radar system .
This successful candidate will be responsible for day to day oversight and management of a diverse logistics and sustainment effort for the execution of the Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) program. This IPTL will report to the Lead Sustainment Engineer who is responsible for oversight and management of the entire sustainment program. This role will also assist with deploying and installing new systems, upgrading and maintaining existing systems, and planning for and proposing system updates and aiding business growth in adjacent markets. The IPTL will be responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance, including such functions as system improvement and technical refresh efforts, spares planning and management, logistics analysis and oversight of property management. The IPTL will establish milestones, performance metrics, and evaluation controls to monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules. This role involves managing diverse and multi-functional teams which are geographically separated as well as direct engagement with the government customer program office and end users.
Required Skills:
Minimum 10 years of related experience

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Experience managing funding and resources
Experience collaborating with multi-functional, cross-discipline teams, working groups, and inter- business unit collaborative efforts.
Experience with business and project management tools and procedures (e.g., Integrated Master Plans/Schedules, Risk Management and Earned Value Management techniques).
Ability to proactively identify and execute opportunities for process improvement
Understanding of configuration management controls and engineering change processes
Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment with US Government customers
Experience with Mission and/or Quality Assurance processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, interconnect diagrams and technical operations manuals
MUST be a U.S. Citizen with Active (or active within past 2 years) DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience sustaining fixed-base or mobile radar or communications systems,
Experience with new site installation/activation

Working knowledge of Radar and/or Communications systems

Experience transitioning programs from production to sustainment
Experience managing cost-type programs

Experience in proposal generation and contract negotiation

Program Management certification or a
bility to obtain Program Management Certification within one year.

EVMS Certification or ability to gain within 6 months

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathmatics) discipline.
