Biomedical Engineering will see some of the largest growth (23%) through 2024, much faster than average of all occupations. Growing technology and its application to medical equipement will increase the demand for work of biomedical engineers.
Petroleum Engineers command a median wage of $129,990. Their high pay can be attributed to the new ways in which petroleum companies extract fossil fuels. This field is also expected to see a 10% growth over the next decade.
