We are seeking an experienced, high caliber and self-motivated Test Engineer to design, develop and maintain Automated Test Equipment for the production of medical devices.

This position requires application of engineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems and use of technical judgment in planning, organizing, performing, coordinating and/or directing engineering work. This position requires periodically working in a class 5 and class 7 clean room environments as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Designs, develops, implements, and maintains Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) including integrating hardware and developing software for production environment
  • Maintains existing software. Installs changes as necessary to provide testing for updates to existing product designs.
  • Updates all documentation to support changes.
  • Performs software and hardware validation including: equipment specification, software requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Generates detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. 
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.


    • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other applicable field of study.
    • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in LabVIEW programming in a work environment.
    • Basic familiarity with \"C\" programming or similar programming languages.
    • Experience with programing measurement instrumentation.
    • Experience with software documentation (e.g. software requirements, test plans, etc.).
    • Experience in medical device or other regulated environment preferred.
    • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
    • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
    • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
    • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
    • Ability to travel less than 10%, including internationally.
