EMEA Payroll Analyst

We are currently seeking a dedicated and diligent, Payroll Analyst to oversee end to end payroll. The successful candidate will work as part of a team, to manage all payroll preparation. Complete all aspects of post payroll activities including preparing journal entries for submission to Finance reporting to support account reconciliation and tax filing), processing and distribution duties and will provide assistance to both internal and external customers when vital.

  • Interface time and attendance data to the payroll system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure payroll records are accurately maintained including all requirements.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of the UK payroll in accordance with the relevant deadlines.
  • Liaise with HR as with reference to new starters, changes to employee details and leavers.
  • Upload the monthly payroll journals to SAP FI.
  • Perform the above payroll activities and other countries for the EMEA region countries.
  • Resolve payroll related queries from both employees and other functions
  • Maintain documented payroll procedures ensuring that they up-to-date for all areas of responsibility.
  • Verifies payroll tax filing for all legal entities.
  • Accurate and timely manner in which payroll related actions and reports are prepared and processed.
  • Timely response to employee enquiries focusing on a high level of customer service!
  • The ability to communicate, facilitate and engage proactively with team members, staff managers, and department managers as needed.
  • Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate.
  • Recommend and implement changes leading to standard methodology operations.
  • Ensure correct system maintenance including employee master data, wages, benefits, in line with contracts.
  • Management reporting, including monthly results, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e. gross payroll, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).
  • Maintains payroll documentation.

    Qualifications and Competencies
    • Bachelor€™s degree or 3 years of experience in payroll function.
    • APA or CIPP qualified and/or Certified Payroll Professional designation desirable.
    • Knowledge in ADP, SAP, Workday, Kronos.
    • In-depth knowledge of payroll calculation and processing.
    • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
    • Process improvement initiative training/experience preferred.
    • Must be highly organized.
    • A strong customer focus and forge strong collaboration.
    • Must be a team player.
