Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and have significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first-class experience when doing business with Citi.


Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citis innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.


Our Technology partners develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. We have re-imagined how to provide technology and service in our domain through the alignment of our team vision, culture, and aggressive retirement plan for legacy applications and adoption of a micro-based containerized cloud environment. **Role Overview:**


The EMEA Futures Trade Management Group Head is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring all Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to manage the daily operations for a larger Cash and Trade Operations unit, consisting of multiple teams performing related tasks.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Oversee daily operations for 4 teams and several unit supervisors within the EMA Futures Trade Management Group (TMG) covering all European ETD Central Clearing Counterparties (CCPs) and third party brokers to ensure teams meet performance and quality expectations

+ Manage staff and resources to risk manage high trading volume around quarterly rolls and market events.

+ Work with technology partners to develop and enhance current systems to increase straight-through processing.

+ Be the primary point of contact for any trade relates queries for all European CCPs: ICE, Eurex, LME, ECC, Euronext, OMX, IDEM & MEFF.

+ Manage staff resource allocation while assisting with the development

+ Resolve complex and highly variable issues with significant departmental impact

+ Evaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions

+ Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards

+ Contribute to the objectives of the entire Transaction Services function

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ Significant experience in a related senior level role with experience in trade / cash operations and management

+ Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance

+ Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree preferred
