Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Field Engineering is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the MESA Program based out of Linthicum, MD. This position will require some short-term international travel with the potential of long-term assignments supporting our international customers. Your base location will be in Baltimore supporting Engineering development, integration, and sustainment activities.

The Electronics Engineer will become part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Field Engineering organization, working in a rewarding environment and interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines, functional management, and program leadership.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Work as a member of the MESA Radar Integration and Field Support team to provide logistical and engineering integration and sustainment support for the MESA product line.
+ Support of the current and potential future MESA product lines to include existing international customers (Australia, Korea, Turkey, and the UK) as well as future customers.
+ This position will require acquisition of a broad span of knowledge across the MESA product line to include technical, logistical, and export knowledge.
+ Travel as required to support integration, test, and sustainment activities on multiple MESA programs spanning the globe. Short-term and long-term opportunities will be available.

**This position can be filled at the Electronics Engineer level OR the Principal Electronics Engineer level. Qualifications for both are listed below:**

**Basic Qualifications for an Electronics Engineer:**

+ An active Secret clearance is required.
+ Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related STEM area with at least 2 years of relevant experience (0 years with a Master's Degree).
+ A quick learner and self-starter who can work independently when given the necessary resources to perform tasks.
+ Familiarity with RF circuit design components and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
+ Experience with RF and digital electronics troubleshooting and use of associated test/support equipment.
+ Ability to travel internationally short-term when needed.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a customer environment with a willingness to engage with internal and external customers domestically and internationally to support and champion our products and services.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with radar systems hardware and software.
+ Experience with radar systems integration and test.
+ Experience with MATLAB, C++ and VxWorks environment.
+ Experience with MESA Radar hardware/software and awareness of mode capabilities.
+ Experience interfacing with customer technical and leadership personnel.
+ Experience with military customers and a flight line environment.
+ Willingness to take a long-term assignment when needed.

+ Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related STEM area with at least 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with a Master's Degree).
+ A quick learner and self-starter who can work independently when given the necessary resources to perform tasks.
+ Familiarity with RF circuit design components and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
+ Experience with RF and digital electronics troubleshooting and use of associated test/support equipment.
+ Ability to travel internationally short-term when needed.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a customer environment with a willingness to engage with internal and external customers domestically and internationally to support and champion our products and services.

Salary Range: $77,900.00 - $116,900.00Salary Range 2: $96,600.00 - $145,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
