You€™ll be working with our state of the art Gas Cloud Imaging (GCI) system which is one of the world€™s first systems that can visually identify type of gas leak, sense concentration levels and monitor in real time. Our sensors can detect leaks from a mile away, and our analytics combine optical physics and data science to provide maximum benefits now and in the future.

We are part of a team that uses test equipment and instrumentation to test product designs!

Key Responsibilities:

·             This role will be primarily responsible for digital electronics design

·             Apply prescriptive methodology to project tasks

·             Develop boot loader and proprietary tasking executive for the ARM processor

·             Collaborate with various engineering functional teams

·             Perform specification review

·             Digital and analog hardware design, development, and testing

·             Firmware development

·             Communicate any non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties

·             Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment

·             Execute project subtasks in order to meet customer specifications (designing, testing, etc)

·             Identify areas for technical improvement using engineering knowledge and principals

YOU MUST HAVE:

·             Bachelor€™s degree

·             Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital hardware design

·             Minimum 2+ years€™ experience with professional schematic capture and PCB layout tools

·             Minimum 2+ years of firmware development with strong C/C++ skills, Board bring-up for a variety of subsystems and products

WE VALUE:

·             Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tool, Altium specifically

·             5+ years€™ experience with protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS422/485 and Ethernet

·             Master€™s Degree

·             Capability to apply broad knowledge of one professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices

·             An understanding of analog electronics

·             Proactive and able to work with little supervision

·             Experience on analog and digital circuit design with high speed ADCs and DACs, FPGAs, embedded real-time processors and power supplies

·             An expert in board debugging, hardware troubleshooting & hands-on electronic components (SMD/Through-hole) soldering on PCBs

·             Capability to update or modify working methods in your role by following defined procedures

·             Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity

·             Dexterity to evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical practices
