The E-Commerce and Digital Manager position will contribute to the division revenue and help maximize the profitability and growth of the Abbott Diabetes Care brands by managing the E-Commerce Channel and implementation of strategic and tactical digital marketing programs to expand brand presence and drive business objectives.

As part of the management team, this position will provide input into the Strategic and Tactical plans of the business.

Sensitive/ confidential data handled:  Division A&P, New Products Plan and Business Plan

Key Areas of Accountability

1. Drives strategy, operational management and execution with ecommerce partner and digital agency partners

2. Works with Area and Global marketing to understand brand content and adapt to local context.

3. Supports the business manager in gathering and assessing market data, including competitive information and market trends to create plans and necessary changes to ultimately meet customer needs.

4. Acts as Point-of-Contact of Area Customer Experience and Service Team

5. Builds and drives CRM plans and strategies, working closely with Area CRM Team.

6. Prepares product forecast and monitors inventory levels accordingly of E-Comm Distributor regularly to ensure DOH compliance and availability of stocks.

7. Ensures projects are on budget and delivered accordingly to plan.

8. Defines KPIs and manage for success

Job Specification

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Must have an integrated view: from demand generation (awareness and driving traffic to E-comm platforms) to good user experience (UX) to managing stock availability and promotions to conversion (sales) and repeat purchase (CRM)
  • Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce channel (can be from consumer goods, healthcare background not required/essential)
  • Must have clear understanding of brand strategies and translating to online/digital ecosystem
  • Experience being a digital advisor for brands
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Must have good project management skills and acumen of managing a P&L.

      Minimum Qualification:

      >5 years of digital marketing /digital media management / E-commerce experience gained at a country or regional level for a reputable consumer / healthcare brand.

      >University degree from a reputable institution - preferably Marketing or Business Management GraduateDivision: ADC Diabetes Care
      Travel: Yes, 20 % of the Time
      Medical Surveillance: Not Applicable
      Significant Work Activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
