Then you will feel at home at the Citibanamex Agile Center of Expertise, being an Agile Coach for the Agile Dojo.


Although Agile Coach is the industry term, maybe Agile Engineer will be best suited... We are hiring a hands-on person to support several agile teams within the fast-paced and growing Citibanamex teams. In this role, you will be coaching teams to help them maximize their potential, not just from an "Ivory Tower" but applying your knowledge and experience hands-on with the teams. With all your experience and with the Citibanamex Way of Work you will engineer the best way of work for the teams, with the current governance, and engineering practices but adapted to the team's context.


You will play a critical role helping build high performing teams, helping the team continuously improve, and removing barriers that slow the team down. You will participate in building a fun and happy workplace where Teams and Software Engineers will create, innovate and thrive and will help to make our customers and collaborators simply awesome! In addition you will be responsible of enabling and support collaboration tools in alignment to global teams.


Responsibilities:


+ Work directly with a team of teams (we call it a League on the Citibanamex Way of Work) aligned to a Business Capability

+ Be a contributor within the league to keep our customer at the most important priority and deliver value through a constant delivery of products and solutions for our users.

+ Creates a culture of continuous improvement within the league.

+ Helps the teams remove barriers that slow them down to maximize delivery flow

+ Continuous coaching of the teams and stakeholders to realize their highest potential, not only on the way of work but on technology disciplines and practices.

+ Fosters open communication and transparency through building trust within teams

+ Facilitates or help other team members facilitate events

+ Create visibility to what and how the teams are doing

+ Support the Product Owner in maintaining data in the appropriate agile toolset to provide transparency to the roadmap and related priorities

+ Facilitate retrospective meetings at the end of each timebox ensure highest priority retrospective action items are added to the backlog and solve them as other product backlog items.

+ Be active in our internal and external agile communities to share best practices and lessons learned.

+ Manage dependencies with other leagues necessary for product release in a matrixed and distributed environment.

+ Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level employees. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

+ Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

+ Tracks business unit performance against the IT business plan and service level agreements; identifies gaps.

+ Acts as subject matter expert to new or lower level employees. Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:


+ At least 5 years of professional experience including at least (some points may overlap):

+ 3 years of experience working with agile teams

+ At least 1 year of experience in agile software development techniques (i.e. Test Driven Development, eXtreme Programming, CI/CD, etc.)

+ At least 1 year of experience in Product (or Project) Management

+ At least 2 years in Technology Delivery or similar roles

+ If you are / were part of a talent or acceleration program, it will be consider even if you still do not meet some of the requirements.

+ Knowledge and experience applying at least 3 agile practices other than Scrum from Agile People or Lean Inception to Service Design or Human Centered Design practices. (Our agile coaches are like Batman, with a lot of tools on their belt, Scrum is just one of many)

+ Strong understanding of Kanban and experience helping teams identifying and solving bottlenecks and reducing waste on their value stream.
