Description The Diversity and Inclusion Lead develops, implements, and evaluates diversity/equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action programs to ensure compliance with government legislation and organization goals. The Diversity and Inclusion Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Responsibilities The Diversity and Inclusion Lead responsibilities include: + NRG Strategy and Leadership + Develop holistic forward-looking strategy to continuously evolve Humanas Network Resource groups. + Collaborate with NRG Leaders, Executive Sponsors and the Executive I&D Council members to gain alignment on NRG strategy and goals. + Recruit and onboard new executive sponsors and co-presidents + Develop approach and manage NRG/I&D summits; components include: + Associate Develop topics - i.e. business acumen + NRG strategy + Consumer Centricity + Senior Leadership exposure opportunities + Data analysis and metrics + Set success measures and key performance indicators + Produce population snapshots and connect NRG participation to wellbeing, engagement, and business outcomes + Develop channels for information sharing, such as MS Teams, leadership calls (NRGs in the Know) + Attend each NRG leadership team meeting + Coach and provide guidance to NRG co-presidents as needed + Ongoing communications and update with executive sponsors + Work with HR business partners to update polices and resolve issues + Develop NRG role profiles as needed, and maintain current profile + Diversity Recruiting at Graduate Level + Relationship manager for Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and the Consortium Graduate Studies in Management partnerships, both of which focus on developing diverse talent at the MBA level, giving Humana an opportunity to build a stronger, more diverse talent pipeline with top talent. + Partner with the HR College Recruiting team to create recruiting strategy focused on top-tier, diverse MBA candidates + Represent Humana at recruiting events and manage the communication and logistics for the on-site interview pro + Represent the Office of I&D in external events and internal forums- Panel discussions, Town Halls , leader training sessions, Local I&D days, and requests made by key partners Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree + 8 or more years of demonstrated experience in inclusion and diversity + 2 or more years of experience developing and integrating inclusion and diversity focused programs + Passion for improving inclusion and diversity across the enterprise + Demonstrated ability to connect the dots end-to-end and focus on simplifying processes and experiences + Strong presentation, facilitation and written/verbal communication skills + Problem solving skills and ability to proactively identify and mitigate issues + Ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and to serve as an influence leader and a team player + Proven ability to break down silos, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and leverage resources and opportunities across the enterprise + Proven ability to work with highly confidential information + Strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point + Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications + Master's Degree + Experience with crowd sourcing and/or survey tools Additional Information + Direct Reports: 1 Full Time Employee Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 About Us Mission: At Humana, our cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.
