High Customer Satisfaction

  • Manage and resolve high-pressure customer issues, including product performance issues and Technical Partner concerns
  • Drive a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a €œfirst time fix€, follow up to ensure customer expectations have been met and close all outstanding issues
  • Understand customer perception and the associated business impacts in order to resolve customer issues in a rapid fashion

    Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

    • Develop and drive accountability around daily management and monthly critical metrics
    • Identify systemic business issues and demonstrate team expertise and DBS problem solving tools to identify root cause and effectively lead and implement permanent countermeasures to build toward a sustainable business advantage
    • Ensure all processes are documented and improved via the use of kaizen (VSM, TPI, etc.)
    • Act as a primary customer of DBS to use internal and external DBS expertise to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements
    • Analyze data and strategize continuous improvement initiatives

      Cohesiveness and High Performance within your Team

      • Employee development, including coaching, mentoring and finding opportunities for improvement
      • Create an environment of ownership and accountability by ensuring associates understand their objectives and are provided the tools and guidance to be successful
      • Work to build the best team culture through detailed employee development plans and by recruiting the best talent and participating in driving the success
      • Motivate employees and drive a positive cohesive cross-functional work atmosphere.
      • Increase field morale and expectations

        Fiscal Influence & Business Growth

        • Responsibility for financial management and growth by understanding the impacts that key decisions have on the field
        • Handle District expenses to achieve annual operating profit target including but not limited to travel, overtime, parts and inventory management, fleet, etc.
        • Drive substantial new equipment lead generation from Service to aid Sales growth
        • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and team members to strategize and drive business opportunities for the organization
        • Ensure compliance and adhere to FDA regulations

          The essential requirements of the job include:

          • Bachelor Degree (Technical or Engineering field preferred) or Military equivalent (E-6 or greater), Master Degree in Business preferred
          • Minimum five years of prior field service management experience in related field, technical management, or management in a field that requires regular customer interaction
          • Computer literate (especially in Excel and Powerpoint, Oracle and Salesforce.com a plus)
          • Ability to travel up to 50% within defined territory
          • Demonstrated ability to listen to various partners (e.g. Customers, Sales) and generate meaningful insights
          • Successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges
          • Communicate expectations regarding performance and hold people accountable for results
          • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and customers
          • Demonstrated ability to work across cross functional teams cohesively
          • Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills
          • Commercial experience
          • Exposure to P&L, and budget management experience
          • Current and clean driver€™s license record
          • Demonstrated commitment to safety
