**REGIONAL MANAGER CVG**

*Lead and Drive
the Sales Marketing strategy for Sri Lanka for products in Cardiac Surgery.


*To over
achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified region, by
driving the Sales and Marketing strategies of Sri Lanka Medtronic CVG business.


*To
practice good territory management in terms of organization, administration and
expense planning and control.


*To
engage and motivate each and every team member on their performance against
goals and mentor and develop the subordinates to ensure that everyone is
performing as per objectives.


*To
ensure that the companys agreed quality standards are maintained with regard
to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.


**A Day in the Life**


**Revenue Responsibility**


+ Responsiblefor achieving primary and secondary AOP in terms of Growth matured productunits and revenue. Also Focus products revenue to be achieved.


Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual
sales plan and meet the planned AOPs


Ensure the sales
teams are driving the value proposition so that the Average Selling Prices are
protected, thereby delivering better margins for the products.


Strategize to
accomplish the planned target and work towards sales growth in the region and
increase in market share of products.


Responsible for
forecasting the Sales trend for the future


+ Maintain and expand existingbusiness and develop new business opportunities.


**Facilitate** **of Marketdevelopment activities**


+ Responsible for creation of marketdevelopment plan, selection of new implanters, sites for in house trainingand execution of various eventsas per BCSnorms

+ Responsible for accelerating highgrowth therapy optimizing profitability and size growth initiative for hisregion with the help of zonal product managers by implementing KOLplans, workshops, CME, RTM, therapy summits, newinitiatives, etc.

+ Facilitate and drive customerengagement activities, market development initiatives such as HHFA,Project Engage, Go Direct, SAM, KAM, etc. to create awareness aboutproducts and therapies

+ Implement GD initaitives in identifiedcities in region to ensure smooth transition of GD operations coordinatingwith GD team to follow SOPs within timelines. Conduct daily/weekly reviewto track progress challenges with team. Activation of all accounts atgiven place.

+ Drive team to colloborate with GovernmentNew Market team to work together across region on tenderdocumentation process, pricing, coverage engaging customers.

+ Drive CVG deal across regioncoordinating with KAM team.

+ Manage marketing expenses, spendon marketing programs for HCP


**Sales Force Management and Development**


Set targets for team members, monitor their
performance every month during reviews, undertake quarterly performance status.


Clearly
communicate performance standards and performance gaps with the team members
during reviews.


Responsible for
conducting the IDP/PAG discussions and identify analyze gaps in technical
and soft skills, based on the developmental needs nominate for training.


Ensure sales
force effectiveness by carrying out mediations throughout the employee life
cycle in Medtronic for career growth which includes carrying out Induction,
Creation of Learning pathways, FOJTs, IDP, PAG, coaching etc.


+ Responsible for FOJT/CPCcall record upload in SFDC for team creating and following on the coachingagreement.


**Effective recruitment and Vacancy Management**


Proactively
take steps to manage vacancies and Recruit the right candidates in the Team


Manage
the Business of vacant territory by proper resource utilization so as to ensure
nominal impact on business


**Channel Management**


+ Undertake distributor reviews interms of understanding stock availability, daily co-ordination withdistributors and monitor distributor customer relationship

+ Responsible to ensure discipline,compliance, coverage and revenue achievement of distributors

+ Work in synergy with Regionaldistributor Manager to help him/ her in motivating, training, reviewingthe distributor performance timely to achieve the objectives aligned withthe organizational

+ Negotiation of price withCorporates to maximize profitability


**KOL/Customer Management**


Check the
meeting frequency of Team with KOLs and the no. of KOLs influenced


Would be
responsible for KOL Management in terms of planning effective customer
engagement programs likeCMEs and RTMsas per BCS compliance and maintaining
productive relationships with them


Plan and
facilitate execution of training and technical programs for Key Hospitals


Engage non-clinical
stakeholders hospitals administrators, staffs to maintain productive
relationship with them.


**Miscellaneous Activities**


+ Recognizeand understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation tothe companys products through account potential mapping on periodicinterval.


Ensure proper
MIS in terms of providing market and competitor information to the appropriate
company personnel to feed the targeting, pricing and product development
processes.


Submissions of monthly sales reports and
other related reports.


+ EnsureLegal and ethical compliance in all activities which are undertaken


**Must Have Minimum Requirements**


Bachelor in
Science /B Pharma/BE/ BTech in
Biomedical Engineering / Bio-instrumentation, Electronics


MBA in Sales and Marketing


**12-14 years** of Experience
in selling of knowledge based product and People Management


Experience of
Distribution Management


Willing to
travel extensively and relocate as well


**Nice to Have**


Computer
literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.


Demonstrated situations where he/she has worked with both external
internal teams collaborated helped to come up with decisions ideas
that have helped the success of initiatives.


Sound
clinical and technical knowledge of cardiac surgery products


People and Relationship building Skills including Networking Skills


Capable of
communicating marketing plans /strategies/ intelligence promptly and
confidentlyto appropriate personnel
