As the Lead Systems Integrator/Systems Architect, you will be a technical
leader for developing Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) solutions for helping
people living with diabetes. You will
lead the effort to establish the architecture for a technology group, enabling
future iteration and feature expansion with a focus on design components for
extensibility and reuse. You will accomplish this through working closely with
technical teams to understand technology capabilities as they relate to meeting
the goals of the business and working closely with business partners to
understand future technology/features needed by the market.


As a part of the development program, you will establish the
trade-off space for a product development program through building consensus
amongst business and technical teams regarding scope and feature/performance
prioritization. You will work with the
technical teams to identify areas of technical risk and ensure that sufficient
de-risking activities are on-going so that development programs meet the
intended scope and schedule.

**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ Establishes thearchitecture for a technology group to allow for future iteration andfeature expansion.


+ Work closely withtechnical teams to understand technology capabilities

+ Work closely withbusiness partners to understand future technology/features needed by themarket


+ Works with technical andbusiness stakeholders to establish the architecture for the system indevelopment

+ Works with technical andbusiness stakeholders to establish the integration pipeline of keytechnologies including electromechanical devices, smartphone apps andcloud services into commercial systems.

+ Leads or leverages crossfunctional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new productdevelopment and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes andtherapies.

+ Works closely with theproduct development teams to ensure effective system integration followinga systems engineering approach.

+ Works closely with thetechnical leads on product development programs to lead technicalintegration topics across engineering disciplines.

+ Communicates withstakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products orprocesses will solve the business problems.

+ Gathers requirements,works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirementsmanagement to ensure they meet demands of projects key stakeholders.

+ Establishes the trade-offspace for a product development program


+ Buildsconsensus amongst business and technical teams regarding scope andfeature/performance prioritization


+ Reviewsstatus of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Represents the Product Developmentfunction on cross functional core teams

+ Monitorsthe project from initiation through delivery.

+ Assessesproject issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, andclient-satisfaction goals and objectives.

+ Developsmechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention andproblem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


**Must Have: MinimumRequirements**


+ Bachelors degree

+ 15+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 13+ years ofexperience

+ Experience in developing launching app-cloud systems

+ Experience in developing electro-mechanical devices including how tointegrate the various subsystems into one product


**Nice to Have: Preferred Requirements**


+ PhD degree inengineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience

+ Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS/DRM)

+ Experience in medical device product development

+ Experience in implementing products that have to integrate intomultiple platforms

+ Experience in leading development of distributed systems

+ Experience in developing physiologic sensors
