Director - Ops Transformation

What You'll Do

You will lead multi-functional transformation programs and product ownerships in commerce space. Success in this role means understanding the business needs across offers, new route to market, sales motions; translating them to business outcomes, associated critical metrics ; & delivering those outcomes working with multi-functional teams and IT. You are a critical thinker and problem solver. You will hit various complex roadblock on the way to executing to those outcomes, ability to solve those roadblocks with multi-functional collaboration, within time and budget is critical. Key areas of this role:

  • Defining: Defining the Strategy and Outcomes/important metrics with associated roadmap(Business Case) to get the funding
  • Translating strategy into execution: Defining execution plans to deliver to committed outcomes in the business case. Solving Key business decisions. Keeping program budget, scope and delivery on track
  • Business Integration: Enable business readiness to adopt new capabilities and processes
  • Team: Motivate and lead team of program managers & product owners.

Who You'll Work With

You will work with multi-functional teams within Operations, as well as executive partners across Cisco.

Within Ops you will partner with CPS transformation Architects, CPS Offer Velocity team on planning and with IT for execution & CPS service owners on Business Integration.

Who You Are

  • BS or equivalent, MBA a plus
  • 10-15 yrs experience in operations, strategy & execution. Prefer that you have delivered large scale transformation program
  • You are an ambitious leader with exceptional Strategy & Execution skills and high attention to detail and you have a depth of experience Commercial processes
  • You are a self starter and collaborator with strong gravitas and presentation skills. You are accustomed to presenting and communicating with senior leaders and comfortable with saying no to ensure maintained alignment to the strategic investments.
  • You have a broad business understanding this role covers broad aspect of Cisco route to market, offer enablement, sales motions

Required Skills & key Success Factors

  • 10+ yrs relevant experience in Strategy, Operations and/or Cross-functional Leadership
  • Both a strategic mindset for planning and an ability to execute.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct line of control
  • Great collaborative skills
  • Flexible, resourceful, and resilient; thrives on ambiguity and change.
  • Know the business - deep understanding of customer requirements, Cisco field, and our partners.
  • Track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to drive process forward to closure while thinking analytically, creatively and insightfully out of the box where it makes sense.
  • Solid experience leading projects in a global, multidisciplinary, and virtual team environment.
  • Drives hard to results, with multiple balls in the air, tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude. Strong leadership and social skills.
  • Excellent written (esp. PowerPoint) and verbal communication skills. Excellent listener.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, influencing and organization skills thrives on driving to success in a highly interdependent, reciprocal, complex environment
