The Marketing Analytics & Data Science team supports the Marketing organization to evaluate brand investments and drive new customer relationships. We analyze data from a broad range of marketing activities, and translate it into actionable insights for senior leadership, channel managers, and business partners.


The Director of DIY Marketing Analytics will support the DIY Marketing team and other key members of the Marketing Analytics team. He/she will be charged with generating data-driven insights to grow the DIY business.  This role involves extracting and analyzing data across various systems (digital platforms, CRM databases, etc.), evaluating effectiveness of marketing tactics, and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across the entire marketing funnel.  The ideal candidate will have a deep working knowledge of digital and ecommerce analytics, and be able to employ various analytical and statistical tools for evaluating trends and measuring performance against qualitative and quantitative objectives.  Key Responsibilities include:

  • Own all marketing and eCommerce measurement and evaluation processes for Blue by ADT
  • Extract, join and clean data from various platforms
  • Develop and maintain recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, focused on lead generation, conversion funnels, and Marketing ROI
  • Evaluate marketing investments at the media/channel/tactic/promotion level
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis based on business priorities to help key decisions
  • Analyze Blue by ADT marketing and customer data to identify trends, patterns and insights
  • Design and conduct A/B testing with innovative strategies to maximize learning
  • Synthesize primary and secondary research to guide marketing strategy
  • Model scenarios to inform business decisions
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance of marketing activities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise level projects
  • Interpret data and translate insights into coherent business strategy
  • Develop executive-level presentations to illustrate key data insights
  • Learn new analytical tools that speed up the process to get the right answer faster
