The HR Director serves as an HR Business Partner to the VP/GM for the Americas and supporting HR functions in the US, Canada, and Latin America. S/he will support short-term and long-term strategic leadership for all aspects of HR management within the $250M business. This role contributes to business strategies, counsels, and supports business teams to build strategic capability and leadership, develop and engage talent and helps enable organizational efficiency and effective management. This role reports to the VP Global Human Resources and is part of the Global HR Leadership team, supplying to global HR strategy and implementation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

Contribute to Strategy and Build Organizational Capability: 

  • Create and execute a strategy that supports and aligns with the objectives. 

  • Facilitate organization design and leadership development efforts 

  • Implement and track metrics towards key local and global HR objectives, policies, processes and programs 

    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the VP/GM for the Americas organization 

    • Mentor and develop managers, building their skills to optimally handle and lead their people. 

      Drive Talent and Core HR Process: 

      • Facilitate annual HR processes (i.e. Organization Talent Assessment, Performance Review/Objective Setting, Engagement, Merit, Bonus, Sales Incentives Plans) 

      • Continuously raise the bar in the maturity of the processes within the organization 

        HR Management: 

        • Coordinate management of systems consistent with organization-wide policies/practices and country-specific procedures and regulations 

        • Coordinate HR policies, labor laws and management of HR infrastructure (i.e. Leave of Absence, Workers€™ Comp, Affirmative Action, OSHA, government audits, Workday Data) 

        • Support employee relations and investigations 

          Our expectations 

          Key Requirements: 

          • Business degree with minimum 12+ years of HR experience across all functions of HR 

          • Shown expertise across the employee lifecycle, specifically talent management, organizational efficiency, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, employee relations, project management, and process implementation 

          • Experience in supporting targeted global functions (Commercial organization, i.e. sales, service, marketing, etc.) would be a plus 

          • Experience in delivering leadership training and mentorship 

            • Willingness to travel approx. 20%

                • Strong personal followership skills, developing and leading a robust global HR team 

                • Very well structured and organized with the ability to drive projects within the matrix organization
