Director -Finance Reporting

The Finance Reporting Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Senior Group Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial/ liquidity risk reporting, capital planning and analysis. The objective of this role is to ensure Citigroup financials and Liquidity risks are reported in a timely and accurate manner.


+ Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting

+ Manage activities, including regulatory and liquidity risk reporting, passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period

+ Oversee all areas of production for regulatory ledger , risk weighted assets, and APAC treasury/ liquidity risk reporting

+ Ensure that the reporting teams in FRSS Manila operate in a compliant and controlled environment demonstrating strong ownership and accountability for Citis internal and external reporting obligations.

+ Actively contribute towards Finance transformation and Regulatory remediation goals by simplifying processes, optimizing platforms and improving data quality

+ Provide Leadership over a large team of 200+ FTEs and have a robust strategy for talent attraction, retention and development

+ Liaise and influence with technology and upstream partners to improve the efficiency and quality of reporting areas

+ Manage day-to-day high level operational execution and development of the strategic direction of the relevant reporting areas

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

+ Support FRSS Global and Manila Center level strategy and execution priorities for managing risk, driving world class performance and talent growth.


+ 15+ years of relevant experience in reporting or operational areas

+ Experience with governance and risk & control environment: implementation control frameworks and programs

+ Broad knowledge of reporting is a plus understanding of operating and reporting ledgers, Regulatory Reporting, capital planning, liquidity management, etc

+ Experience in people management and supervisory experience of managing large teams

+ Attention to detail and demonstrate problem solving skills to work around obstacles to achieve desired objectives

+ Demonstrated leadership in delivering on transformational and strategic initiatives.

+ Ability to work across functional areas and experience in managing multiple stakeholders at various levels

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, persuasive and influential communicator

+ High degree of self-motivation, with a commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative

+ Demonstrated leadership and track record in liaising with senior stakeholders.

+ Demonstrated project management and ability to drive execution on strategic initiatives.


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Masters degree preferred
