Position Purpose
Reporting directly to the VP of HR Shared Services, the Director of Employee Experience has overall responsibility for the operational delivery of HR Tier 1 inquiry and transaction resolution. This role will lead the strategic focus to transform HR Services around Tier 1 services to improve overall efficiency while maintaining excellence employee experience. They will establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and metrics for standard and ad-hoc reporting and propose data based continuous improvement efforts. This role also has responsibility for the operational delivery of HR inquiry and transaction resolution related to talent acquisition ensuring great onboarding experience. They oversee a team that manages the intake, escalation and resolution of all HR issues, which includes all aspects of employee lifecycle events (e.g., hire, voluntary and involuntary separation, transfer, development, promotion and demotion, on-boarding, employment verification, employee data management, compliance, leaves, etc.) and transactions related to talent acquisition (on-boarding support, interview scheduling, job posting administration).

Principle Duties
  • Collaborate with Shared Services leadership to provide strategic leadership for Allina Health’s Shared Services organization including setting vision and governance
  • Lead the employee experience team to create, build and implement efficient operational processes and knowledge documentation
  • Manage employee records management processes
  • Maintain accountability for SLAs, customer satisfaction metrics, performance and cost reports
  • Utilizing data and feedback from customers, identify opportunities to improve Tier 0 and Tier 1 performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to support employee HR needs
  • Oversee talent acquisition administrative support (on-boarding support, Interview scheduling, job posting administration, pre-employment background check, onboarding admin, data collection and pre-boarding)
  • Ensure team training to support customers on all HR programs and technology (e.g., MyAllina)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred

Qualification/Skills

  • 10+ years of HR operations experience; 5+ years HR leadership experience, preferably in a customer-supporting role and with familiarity with union employees
  • Experience setting up or running a function servicing customer needs (SLA Performance management)
  • Vendor management and experience of managing service teams and a range of projects etc.
