Director Digital Marketing and Web Optimization

We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist and Web Optimization Leader to join our global marketing organization. This person will lead the charge to optimize the performance of Palls website to generate more qualified leads, organic and paid traffic, engaged visitors, and eCommerce transactions. They will be adept at using all optimization tactics and platforms to accomplish these goals and very capable of collaborating with web development, web content, campaign, automation teams, and key marketing partners across the organization.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in digital marketing for a dynamic startup or high growth, sophisticated organization
  • Minimum of three years current web strategy development and leading digital transformation and optimization initiatives
  • Undergraduate degree, with an MBA (preferred)
  • Proven experience at the Director or Sr Manager level, successfully managing a digital marketing team and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated market growth for $MM B2B via e-commerce channels, driving sales from web activity. Including SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Strategically developed the road map for dynamic story telling via progressive branding and web content innovation
  • Experience with and understanding of the digital application ecosystem and leading teams to plan and execute web design and optimization
  • Deep understanding of digital and social landscape, as well as the marketplace and current trends.
  • Results-oriented with an outstanding track record of developing profitable engagement marketing programs and meeting and exceeding performance objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop high performing and highly engaged team.
  • Familiarity with key digital marketing topics: Email marketing, SEO, SEM, A/B testing, content management systems (CMS), localization, and paid social media.
  • Proficiency with Adobe and Google Analytics (and other web analytics tool)
  • Experience in multiple CMS platforms
  • Understands website tagging principles, classification schema and taxonomy structures
  • Core Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and creative thinking tied to the analysis of technology trends and the identification of new opportunities to help drive an enterprise level web strategy and optimization program.
    • Collaborate with key leadership stakeholders to construct and optimize a digital marketing road map, resulting in an integrated strategy to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and marketing return on investment.
    • Collaborate with creative leaders to design inspiring content and campaigns that drive traffic and increase customer engagement.
    • Partner with DSE, BU marketing, and finance teams to optimize the eCommerce experience
    • Drives the creation and deployment of a global web strategy and web governance for Pall.
    • Partners with DSE to define the future web and associated platform development roadmap for Pall
    • Develop, maintain and coordinate appropriate content on Pall€™s websites
    • Craft and optimize websites and landing pages for demand generation channels and campaigns (e.g. paid search).
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to sourcing teams (paid, social, email, affiliate) by looking at both holistic and channel-level performance to improve the quality of users and time on site
    • Focus on site navigation optimizations to ensure consistency with messaging on site (content) and creative messaging (ads) for digital marketing efforts
    • Use reporting to propose, by channel, user-funnel optimizations and actionable insights across the website that will be useful both to marketing leadership and day-to-day stakeholders.
    • Design, execute, measure and implement learnings from A/B tests to enhance the user experience and drive deeper engagement and volume of qualified users
    • Measure the effectiveness of digital marketing and implement improvements as required, including the ability to interpret and organize data to drive decisions and shape strategy.
    • Serve as thought leader on digital marketing in relevant industries.
