    Education Qualifications: Master's degree in related field required. Specialist or doctorate degree in related field preferred.

    Experience Qualifications: Five years of experience in administration, testing and measurement, student accountability, managing federal and state programs, Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)/Accountability Plans, or related experience plus experience in professional learning planning, delivery, and implementation required. Continuous quality improvement experience with leadership and supervision experience and system level K-12 experience preferred

    Skills Qualifications: Ability to work successfully with colleagues, including state, district and school-based personnel, community members, and external stakeholders; ability to develop strategies and processes to support continuous improvement for the accountability and assessment program functions; high degree of skill in organization and problem-solving; ability to demonstrate knowledge of instructional and support technologies and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; skills in collaborative leadership of individuals and groups; excellent oral and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, internally and externally; ability to lead the development of processes related to providing appropriate and accurate student and school accountability; ability to conduct statistical analysis.

    Primary Responsibilities: Support the Executive Director of Accountability and Assessment with leadership, direction, and support for state and federal accountability programs, including but not limited to data analysis, professional development, and validation of accountability information.

    1. Support the effective adherence to and understanding of state and national accountability programs to support the district and local schools in meeting our accountability goals of continuous quality improvement.

    2. Work collaboratively with vendors, district personnel, and school staff to ensure successful use and implementation of the assessment platform through effective process management, leadership, and professional learning.

    3. Support the timely completion of College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI) data collection, submission and validation, meeting all deadlines and requirements from the Georgia Department of Education.

    4. Support local school administrators by meeting with them individually and in cluster meetings to support them in the review of their CCRPI data.

    5.  Assist with providing school and district leaders training in analysis of student achievement data to inform instruction.

    6. Support with the validation and analysis of student, teacher, school, and system-level results for accountability and assessment purposes.

    7. Support cross-divisional data quality processes, analysis, and reporting of student achievement data.

    8. Conduct research, prepare special reports, and, as needed, communicate accountability and assessment information for the Executive Director of Accountability and Assessment.

    9. Communicate effectively with all internal and external audiences as needed to support the district’s vision, mission, and goals.

    10. Perform other duties as assigned.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
