What Youll Do
The Digital Platforms Strategic Business Architect will report to the Senior Manager - Digital Platforms Strategy and will drive digital transformation in the Sales Organization and Partner Ecosystem in alignment with our Digital Platform Strategy and Sales Long Range Strategic Plan. They will be responsible for capturing, communicating, and making recommendations on the end to end business architecture as it impacts our stakeholders. This is a senior individual contributor role that will have responsibility to look across multiple internal stakeholders, quickly understand the business architecture landscape from multiple angles, and relate needed changes in that architecture to the outcomes required by our go-to-market teams. A proven track record of creating and driving digital transformation strategies for sales along with deep digital technology experience is essential for the success of this role. The candidate should be extremely comfortable in matrix environments where senior leaders engage in detailed problem solving regularly.

As a part of the Go-To-Market Sales & Operations team, we are a group of passionate individuals with a common vision: "We are co-creating the next gen sales experience. We are responsible for the digital strategy, business requirements, and UX research & design of new and existing capabilities to enable that vision and partner closely with Sales Leadership, Business Operations and IT.
Responsibilities
Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of the outcomes and motivations of the extended sales teams and partner organization at Cisco.
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the current digital landscape and how that landscape impacts our stakeholders.
Capture the tactical and strategic goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance related to stakeholder outcomes.
Deliver architecture and process recommendations to drive the necessary change for our transformation into the next gen sales experience.
Define the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between those data.
Qualifications
Self-starter with the ability to define and hold the big picture while executing on pieces of it
Expert level understanding of digital trends and impact on go-to-market motions and how it can enable sales team transformation.
A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
Demonstrated experience in digital strategy, design-led thinking, and business execution via technology implementation
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver recommendations and insights in an engaging, impactful manner to influence and drive business decisions within a matrixed organization
Consistent record of delivering business value to internal and external stakeholders
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
