Design-for-Test Automation Engineer
Job DescriptionYou will be part of Intel's silicon design automation team, developing test automation software for cutting-edge designs across all product families and markets served by Intel.
You will play technical leadership role in driving state of art design-for-test tools, flows and methodology development for next generation memory testing by leveraging available industry methods, while driving roadmaps for addressing future challenges.
You will partner with product design teams and Intel's chip manufacturing organization to build software tools for design-for-test automation, test generation, and test content validation and delivery to manufacturing.
You will use the latest software engineering practices and agile development methods to create robust, scalable, and high-performance software that will be used in the design and production of products ranging from high-end servers to embedded Internet-of-things devices.
You will gain a broad understanding of the complete product development and production life cycle from design to manufacturing, and in-depth knowledge of design-for-test and manufacturing test generation.
Qualifications
The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years experience in the following:
Digital Logic/Memory Design and Test.
Data Structures and algorithms.
Software engineering practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:
Design for Test (DFT).
Design Verification.
Computer Architecture.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
