Job Description

Seeking an experienced, organized, and action-oriented individual to provide professional administrative support for the Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS) group in (Global Supply Chain) GSC. The SCS team is at the forefront of driving Intel to be a leader in corporate supply chain social responsibility. The charter for SCS is to stay at the leading edge of environmental and social responsibility for Intel's global supply chain. Our programs include Responsible Minerals Sourcing/Conflict Minerals, Supplier Diversity and Inclusion, Forced and Bonded Labor, Health and Safety, Green Chemistry, Environmental Management, and Ethics and Regulatory Requirements. This role requires knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. The new team member will perform various administrative and project-related activities in support of the director and the entire group.

Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drafts, composes, types, and proofs correspondence using current office software applications; creates and sustains systems for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of confidential information; schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings and events; organizes and manages calendar schedule(s) for manager and/or department
  • Makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports; manages departmental recognition, tracks headcount and spending; serves as an information resource/communication channel for policies and procedures; and is a resource for office related software applications.
  • Duties may also include execution of research, data analysis, and preparing reports/recommendations. Assignments are complex and diversified in nature and require working within a geographically dispersed team. Judgment is required in resolving moderately complex problems.
  • Strong capability working with all Microsoft tools, Intel tools, purchasing and finance systems. Supports office administration with associated tasks (ordering office supplies, food orders, onsite needs).
  • Additional duties include managing tactical projects, general administrative duties such as order supplies, CR coordination, generating shipping memo, etc. Will work closely with other Senior and Executive admins to help facilitate timely and accurate planning needs.

  • Ability to work professionally with team members, other senior and executive admins to help facilitate timely and accurate planning needs.
  • Solid leadership, strong attention to detail, professional/pleasant demeanor, and teamwork skills including a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to support a remote team at a similar level as the onsite team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
  • Ability to understand department goals and priorities, anticipates needs, and initiates action, manages multiple priorities and re-prioritizes where necessary. Ability to arrange team GPTW activities including team quarterly events.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.  Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative support experience with a relevant educational degree, experience in administrative support in SharePoint, Excel, and calendar management.
    Online tools such as expense reports, Travel tools, and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Booking complex domestic/international travel.
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
