**Data Services Lead Analyst**

The global **Data Services** team is responsible for many run-the-bank and change-the-bank processes. We partner with Risk and Finance to understand their data requirements for regulatory and internal management reporting. We work with data provisioning point owners to ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting of data in the required standards. The team works on an end-to-end basis with various stakeholders to resolve data challenges by understanding root cause/thematic issues and executing solutions such as system replacements, adjustment reduction programs, data quality monitoring and resolution, as well as process design and implementation. As the business owner of GENESIS, the authorized provisioning point for contracts, positions, and balances, as it relates to Citis contractual Balance Sheet, Data Services provides over half of the data inputs into Finance and Risk reporting processes. We also run the operational activities of GENESIS, which includes data quality scorecard monitoring, change management, adjustment processing, and monitoring of data quality on a day-to-day basis.

**Data Services Lead Analyst**


This position will help to ensure data sourced and provisioned by Data Services meets all required data quality standards. The Data Services analyst will assess, evaluate, and analyze data challenges and provide recommendations on their resolution. They will collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Manage and complete all SDLC requirements including business and functional requirements, designs and prototypes, test planning/scenarios and execution, analysis and interpretation of UAT results

+ Coordinate with senior business and technology partners to drive a consensus plan, manage risks and dependencies, and advance objectives of the programs

+ Good understanding of Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and other financial instruments including accounting processes and financial calculations (P&L, dividends, coupons, accretion)

+ Run consumption demand and requirements

+ Manage relationship with Consumers/Data Sources

+ Create and run monthly Consumption forums

+ Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges

+ Drive data quality resolution

+ Lead data improvement initiatives

+ Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions

+ Optimize metrics reporting process

+ Lead project management activities

+ Support senior management strategic vision


**Qualifications:**


+ Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience. Masters degree is a plus.

+ 6-10 years relevant experience.

+ PMP certification is a plus.
