Data CAO Communications & Training Manager - Vice President

The Business Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a professional team or department. The team drives the overall administrative activities of the business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. Manages ad hoc projects as needed.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Partner with local and regional business management team to ensure alignment of business goals

+ Manage a team by providing technical knowledge, coaching, evaluation, determining hiring etc.

+ Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics

+ Advance control framework including executing Managers Control Assessment testing, operational loss processes, and corrective actions

+ Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings

+ Seek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requests

+ Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership

+ Provide input into and recommend technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancements

+ Seek out and ensure corrective actions are implemented for control related issues and remedial action is taken

+ Communicate business knowledge, product knowledge, and requirements to business and internal support functions

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ 6-10 years of experience in financial markets business or business support

+ Experience with foreign exchange and/or interest rate products preferred

+ Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Masters degree preferred

**Data CAO Communications & Training Manager**


The APAC Data Chief Administrative Office is part of the APAC Federated Chief Data Office. The purpose of the APAC Data Chief Administrative Office (Data CAO) is to promote regional awareness and adoption of global data frameworks and standards, and to continuously improve the strategic and operational integrity of the APAC FCDO to ensure that it is equipped and enabled to fulfil its mandate and commitments to its stakeholders. The Data CAO is a horizontal and enabling function across all parts of the APAC FCDO organisation.


**Role Description**


The Data CAO Communications & Training Manager is responsible for supporting the Data Chief Administrative Officer in the execution of engagement, communication and training activities which enable the FCDO to promote awareness and adoption of global frameworks and standards and drive a data culture across the APAC region.


The role requires strong working relationships across the APAC FCDO, within the APAC region and into the Enterprise Chief Data Office CAO.


**Key responsibilities**


Stakeholder Management


+ Builds and maintains robust stakeholder management channels, methods, and tools to ensure that APAC FCDO is reaching out to the right people, engaging them effectively and documenting/tracking their feedback into the FCDO


Communications and internal marketing


+ Builds brand awareness around the role of the APAC FCDO within the region

+ Ensures alignment to the brand and communication strategy of the Enterprise Chief Data Office

+ Develops robust communication channels and tooling to push out key messages

+ Employs creative and impactful content methods to drive cultural adoption of data practices and promotes the services and capabilities provided by the FCDO

+ Provides a Quality Assurance role to ensure that all communication/presentation materials produced by FCDO are consistent and delivered to a high standard

+ Provides a Communication SME advisory and support role to ensure that any content produced by the FCDO team is relevant and impactful to their target audience and is in line with branding guidelines


Training


+ Provides a Training SME advisory role to support the adoption of data policies, frameworks and culture across the region

+ Collaborates with the global Data Training Academy to ensure adoption of training assets within the APAC region

+ Applies Training methodologies to identify APAC data training needs and recommends the best blended learning and communication methods to apply


Skills and Qualifications


+ Experience of working across communications and training in a global change and transformation initiatives

+ Understands the end-to-end management and production of business communications

+ Experienced in advising others in the preparation of written materials

+ Capable of producing a range of communication and training content

+ Experience of the training lifecycle with particular focus on skills and competency frameworks, training needs analysis, blended learning content design, scheduling and evaluation

+ Some marketing content and communications experience is ideal but not essential
