We are seeking an experienced Business/QA Analyst to join the Business Simplification Group who will assist in supporting our Data Quality Rules/Services program and the full life cycle support of the enterprise tools used for data quality rules definition and measurement. The candidate will work directly with the Enterprise Chief Data Office, Federated Chief Data Offices, Citi Businesses, Global Functions, and Technology partners to execute against our Regulatory commitments to build and deliver incremental releases of DQ tooling to support DQ rules inventory, authoring, management, and execution across DQ dimensions. Primary responsibilities include researching and writing business requirements, participating in user story creation to ensure acceptance criteria are sufficiently clear, validating features through User Acceptance Testing and/or regression testing to ensure QA policies and standards are met, coordinating testing with the respective teams, documenting, and conveying all test findings in a clear and concise manner, and providing feedback on the tooling usability.


The role requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the examination of information. The candidate should have the ability to conduct initiatives related to requirement writing, User Acceptance Testing, capability rollout into production, investigating root causes, user support, identifying defects, and recommending appropriate courses of action.


The successful candidate should be investigative, flexible, team-oriented, and have excellent communication and follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail.


**The candidate will:**


+ Manage discussions and requirement gathering sessions, reaching consensus, and recommending solutions on tooling capability

+ Thoroughly research requirements, identify and define the test scenarios, and execute the testing as per the overall project implementation plan

+ Execute regression tests, which includes updating test cases when needed and adding new test cases based on new functionality

+ Record and track user stories and issues in JIRA

+ Produce detailed reports of all test findings

+ Create and maintain testing process documentation

+ Identify risks and outline clear mitigation strategies

+ Implement lessons learned/best practices and look to improve quality of the releases

+ Create and update documentation of tooling capability, processes, procedures, and training materials

+ Coordinate production issue resolution with the appropriate technical teams

+ Review, create, and adhere to team controls, processes, and framework

+ Generate and store regularly systemic reports to assist in future troubleshooting

+ Take on ad-hoc projects/requests as needed

+ Work as a team member and collaborate among various tasks


**Qualifications:**


+ 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Analysis / QA test planning and execution

+ Experience with industry standard QA tool set (JIRA, ALM HPQC, SharePoint, Microsoft Project/Excel)

+ Experience in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall Methodologies

+ Experience in large scale enterprise applications, and application management

+ Proven talent in requirements writing, process or system studies, task prioritization, and risk identification

+ Proven talent in system issue and problem resolution

+ Understanding of IT standards and the software development lifecycle

+ Excellent skills in verbal and written communications, presentations, fostering stakeholder relationships, influencing others, negotiations, and working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams

+ Ability to plan, manage time, and arrive at sound conclusions in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail
