Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• Define the technical and business requirements for data architecture

• Design architecture that uses data from various sources

• Design and maintain data storage solution

• Define reliable and scalable data pipeline

• Optimize existing data architectures and recommend efficiencies to data storage, retrieval and processing

• Create data warehouse or pipeline designs based on data sources and business needs of organization

• Analyze tradeoff of Machine learning techniques in commercial deployments in terms of compute and memory

• Incorporate Security & Privacy Technologies in Data pipelines as required by Data and Privacy Regulations

• Design and transform data into other formats as per needs

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree (Computer Science or Related) with 8+ years of relevant experience

• Hands on Python/Scala Programming, Large scale Data Processing using Spark, Working on AWS Infrastructure

• 8+ years of experience in defining and implementing data strategies

• 5+ years of experience integrating data in batch and near real-time

• 5+ years of experience with big data and deep understanding of associated technologies such as Redshift, Casandra, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Hive, Solr, Flink and Kafka

• Experience with Data Mining, Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics

• Experienced Data Architect or Solution Architect with considerable exposure to data led environments

• Specific experience defining Data Architecture, including future/target architectures

• Knowledge of Data Analytics offerings from AWS, GCP or Azure

• Establishing and embedding data management and governance processes

• Experience working within agile led environments
