Job Summary

The incumbent supports all aspects of the order fulfillment process for assigned accounts and territory responsibilities in Brazil organization.  He/she serves as a primary liaison between BU´s and its customer base to ensure customer satisfaction. The position also participates as a critical link between Outside Sales personnel, our customer base, and Distribution/Invoicing, providing leads and follow-up support as needed.


  • BS degree in Business Administration or related field, graduated or in progress, preferably with 3 (three) year experience in sales administration, marketing, supply chain, customer services functions.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, solve routine problems, drive resolution of problems to meet deadlines, and the ability to pay strict attention to detail on sales process.
  • Desired: Lotus Notes, SAP or other ERP, Microsoft Office Package, Database Softwares.
  • Intermediate in English.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    • Provide dedicated phone support within Customer Services, responding to customer requests and complaints in an expedient and professional manner, taking note of all inquiries and addressing them internally to achieve complete resolution and full customer satisfaction.
    • Executes the processing of orders received by telephone, fax, mail, or the Internet, in a timely and accurate manner.  Prepares order entries directly into local system environment, and maintain central customer database.
    • Work closely with Internal Sales Support Team and Outside Sales to coordinate resolution of customer issues and to help increase sales growth in their respective territory.
    • Acquire and maintain an understanding of the general processes within the following departments and how they interrelate to Customer Service: Supply Chain, Shipping and, Accounting. Spend time within each of these departments to learn their processes, facilitating the communication between areas.
    • Prepares Open Order, Back Order, and Shipment Reports for internal management analyses.
    • Prepare status reports and price list per customer.
    • Issues quotation in SAP and in Word. Receives the purchase orders from customers.
    • Provides first level services related to quotations and/or purchase orders.
    • Provides administrative sales support, such as copies of documents.
    • Executes sales follow up and notify sales person on the changes and requests review.
    • Performs other related activities as required.
    • Understands and complies with all company safety policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety literature, using the required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping.
