Become a Customer Software Debug Engineer and exercise your technical expertise, debug, and creative abilities in support of Intel's Data-centric products. DPG / DCPAE / Fleet and Scale Customer Engineering (FSCE) is looking for a Customer Debug and Support Engineer who is passionate about software tools and capabilities to join FSCE for challenging development opportunities and be part of an exciting family to help develop and deliver cutting-edge, at-scale offerings for our Data Center customers. You will be part of an exciting team to deliver cutting-edge, at-scale tools and capabilities to Intel's largest Asia market Data Center customers. You will have opportunities to innovate across platform-level system tests to enable customer's fleet strategies and solutions, from proof-of-concept to large-scale adoption. You will be part of a team chartered to build Data Center/Server Customer Fleet and Scale Capabilities for Server customers to enable on-time high-quality launches of Intel server programs, as well as in-Fleet product experience. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: � Assist with the rollout/adoption of tool offerings to both the existing and new customers. � Identify customer pain points, validating hypotheses, problem-solution fit, developing value propositions, and defining a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). � Deliver minor defect fixes and new feature enhancements in the tools to support customers in a timely manner. � Diagnosing exceptionally challenging problems at a data center scale and collaborating both up and downstream within Intel as well as externally with our customers is key. � Influence customer design, debug and validation. � Research and respond to customer questions. � Be the voice of software quality, towards higher agility, quality, productivity, and predictability. � Engage in localized BU support meetings with Field Application Engineers and Customers. � Escalate suspected bugs/issues to Business Unit (BU) engineers. � Recommend improvements to the product, docs, support environment, and customer experience. � Contribute to support/develop documentation/FAQs/How-to collateral. � Deliver training for how-tos, BKMs, major release update knowledge sharing. � Collaborating with various internal cross-team validation organizations. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience. Minimum Qualifications: � Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering, or other relevant related fields. � 2+ years of experience in debugging/supporting customer-related issues in a customer supporting role. � Basic system architecture knowledge. � Experience with both Linux and Windows environments. � 2+ years of experience in programming languages (C++, Python, shell scripting). � Software quality and testing practices. � Good working proficiency with the English and Mandarin languages is required, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications: � Microcontrollers and CPU architecture knowledge. Willing to grow technically in these areas. � Experience working across geographies and organizational boundaries.
