The Sales Unit Head is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to raise funds in the capital markets and provide clients with strategic advisory services in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of investment strategies and advisory services to our public and private clients.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Formulate and execute a strategy that achieves and maintains a leading position across the FX & Commodity products with Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Global Consumer Group (GCG) clients globally

+ Ensure best-in-class markets access, advisory and execution capabilities, building connectivity between channels of the Private Bank & the Consumer Bank, and Markets & Securities Services

+ Manage a team of FX specialists and work with multiple partners across the bank in GCG (i.e. Bankers, Investor Sales teams), CPB (i.e. Bankers, Investment Counselors), and Markets (i.e. FX and Commodity Sales and Trading desks globally and the Multi-Asset Group)

+ Develop a coordinated business strategy in the FX and Commodity products to deliver full range of proprietary and non-proprietary products and solutions to target market clients

+ Provide strategic approach to delivering flow and structured products/solutions, focusing on bringing the most appropriate opportunities to the right client segments with attention to client experience

+ Lead strong governance and controls

+ Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure

+ Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics

+ Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firms reputation

+ Be familiar with and adhere to Citis Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services

+ Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you

+ Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ 15+ years of relevant experience including 8-10+ years of managerial experience

+ Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or a related field required

+ Proven success in Business Development and Capital Markets Product Management with in-depth experience of all Markets products, ideally with exposure also to retail clients usage

+ Demonstrated understanding and leadership of a sales or trading business

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the industry and established connectivity to the Investment Bank (IB) and Capital Markets Origination (CMO)

+ Demonstrated leadership skills that include anticipating and leading organizational response to change, translating vision into executable plans, and ensuring limited resources are directed appropriately

+ Proven communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Master's degree preferred
