Corporate Sales Data Analytics Project Manager

The Sales Data Analytics Project Manager is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.


+ Interact with Sales people and work closely with sales, technology, business and business partners to help identify and validate commercial use cases that may provide business growth, efficiency, or better client experience

+ Play a strategic role in the concept to design to delivery with end user / client in the forefront. Work in close co-ordination with Sales, Technology, Strategic stake holders to fulfill the delivery objective

+ Be hands-on and techno functional, willing and able to dig into sales systems to understand critical data flows around specified products

+ Source, clean and process the required data; build the required visualizations; interface with the proper distribution channels; design the user experience

+ Measure and validate that use case is bringing in the expected results; decide on which ones should be scaled

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

+ Communicate progress to the wider CSS team


+ Understanding of key business concepts in FX and Rates

+ Significant experience in data analytics

+ Familiarity with innovation techniques such as job to be done, story boards, five whys and others

+ Familiarity with user experience design

+ Strong data skills to query, clean, analyze and present data

+ Knowledge of Python, SQL for prototype implementation

+ Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik

+ Mathematical and statistical knowledge to plan experiments and measure results

+ Good project management skills

+ Thinks business first but quickly grasps and is conversant in IT concepts and their application to business processes and models

+ Creative, innovative and entrepreneurial in spirit, gets things done

+ Strong analytic ability; ability to think strategically and creatively as it relates to product development and meeting client needs

+ Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives

+ Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement creative product and business solutions

+ Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that make him/her equally effective working with business users and technologists

+ Ability to build effective relationships and leverage a network of partners across business and technology


+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
