**Description:**
**Providence is calling a Coordinator Provider Contracts (Hospital Administration, Days** **, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.** **We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.**
**In this position, you will:**
+ Serve as the principal point-of-contact for contracts with physicians and physician owned entities and functions as process expert for contract completion and submission to third party software for approval. May counsel, guide, train contract authors or may be an individual contributor to contracts and process.
+ Develop and cultivate a collaborative working relationship with the Providence System Office, to include legal affairs and physician compensation departments, as it pertains to the contract process.
+ Provide support and consults with internal stakeholders to provide information necessary to contract approvals, within agreed upon timeframes.
+ Has a working knowledge of Stark Law and is familiar with Providence legal resources who can guide in maneuvering Stark issues as needed.
+ Create and implement operational plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), initiatives and projects relating to physician contract process, including the transition to electronic systems.
+ Initiate contract authorship and assists in drafting and editing contracts and amendments with minimal supervision.
+ Oversee physician contract life cycle for contracts at PAMC. To include needed amendments, extensions, renewals and the tracking of payments.
+ Track fulfillment and payment of physician quality metrics as defined in individual contracts.
+ Work closely with Regional Contract Program Coordinator to assure regulatory and legal compliance with all contract measures and obligations.
+ Track contract expiration and review dates, keeping CEO informed.
+ Perform Executive Assistance related duties as assigned:
+ Maintain hospital executive electronic appointment calendar using discretion in scheduling and rescheduling, as appropriate. Coordinates travel arrangements.
+ Receive and screen communications, transmits detailed information, answers questions, takes accurate messages and keeps hospital executive apprised of communications received during their absence.
+ Prepare drafts and finalize correspondence, reports, agreements, memoranda, and presentations using various computer software applications. Uses initiative to compose responses to routine correspondence.
+ Plan, organize, and coordinate meetings. Assist with the development of agendas, collects presentations, and takes/maintains minutes as needed.
+ Act as liaison between the hospital executive and hospital staff and medical staff to communicate messages, schedule meetings, and disseminate information.
+ Assume responsibility and ensures completion of all assigned projects directed by the hospital executive. Collects data, formulates results, and prepares reports, as necessary to fulfill project deadlines and requirements. Tracks commitments made by executive or staff during meetings and arranges for implementation or staff follow-up.
+ Access, coordinate, and monitor financial and budget data for assigned area, as required. Manages corporate credit card as required.
+ Support hospital staff and medical staff with travel needs, as necessary.
+ Complete Competency Plan for assigned job and department.
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
+ Two (2) years experience working with contracts.
+ Two (2) years managing office administrative functions and projects.
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in General studies or equivalent.
+ High preference for contract experience with physicians and physician owned entities in an acute care setting.
